Melissa Vinson, CBA
In July 2000, Melissa Vinson was introduced to the world of balloons and started her own décor business, MelRhea Balloon Creations. After attaining the designation of "Certified Balloon Artist" in 2002, Melissa has become recognized as an emerging leader in the balloon decor industry. Her stylish and elegant event designs have been compared to some of the decor world's biggest names.

Melissa is a multi-award winning artist and instructor. She was named “Designer of the Year” at both Summer Balloon Camp (August 2008) and FLOAT the convention (November 2008). Her international experience includes the AEMI Balloon Fashion Show in Shanghai, China, and Purim Festival in Holon, Israel.

Linda Vinson
Linda has had her hand in numerous balloon creations since MelRhea Balloon Creations opened in 2000. Her production expertise, creativity and technical eye are valuable assets to MBC. She is an award winning artist, co-producing a first place entrance and large sculpture at FLOAT the convention in Cincinnati, OH. Linda furthers her balloon expertise through various balloon conventions and other educational opportunities.

Both Melissa and Linda were invited to join an international team of balloon designers at the Fourth Annual BalloonTown USA in 2007. Artists in attendance were from the United States, Europe and Israel. Over 150,000 balloons were used to break the existing world record for a balloon sculpture set in 2003 by an Italian team of balloon designers.   Their efforts will be recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records.
